The Rehabilitation Association hosted the consultant (Rita Gallagher) from the international (CARF) Foundation, who paid a special visit to the association that extended for two days. Upon her arrival, she was received by the director of the association's branches, His Excellency Mr. Yusuf bin Abdullah Al-Rumaih, the director of technical affairs, Dr. Ahmed Ezz El-Din, and the director of the strategic planning department. Dr. Yahya Hassan Al-Taher, and Dr. Hazem Badawi, Director of Medical Services in the association, and this comes as a result of the association’s direction to apply international best practices, obtain accreditations in the services provided, and see the services provided and the nature of work within the association. Such official visits also contribute to the exchange of expertise and experiences and the promotion and development of quality Services based on the improvement proposals to reach the institutional excellence that the association aspires to, and this visit included, on its first day, a visit to the Muhammad Al-Saadi Center for Childhood and Early Intervention, which is concerned with providing services for children who are developmentally delayed and at risk from birth to eight years, and also included a similar visit to the Ali Al-Tamimi Center For autism, which is concerned with the care, education and rehabilitation of cases of autism and developmental disorders, while the second day of the visit witnessed A comprehensive visit to the Juffali Complex for Care and Rehabilitation, which deals with the care, education and rehabilitation of persons with disabilities, as well as a similar visit to the Al-Khunainiyah Center for Job and Social Empowerment and to see the services provided.
