His Excellency the Governor of Unayzah, Mr. Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Saleem, hosted in his office in the governorate building on Wednesday morning, 01/03/2024, his Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Ta’heel, Mr. Abdullah Al-Yahya Al-Saleem, to honor our champions, Rakan Al-Otaibi, from Al-Juffali Day Care Center for winning four gold medals, in the Saudi Special Olympics Asian Classic Championship held in Johor Baru - Malaysia, and Yasser Al-Shatwi, from Qudrat Model School for winning four silver medals in the same tournament. This was in the presence of the Secretary General of the Association, Mr. Fahd bin Ali Al-Wahaibi, and Director of Al-Juffali Center, Mr. Abdullah Al-Turki, and the principal of Qudrat School, Mr. Thamer Al-Mutairi, and the student Yasser Al-Shatwi’s father. The Governor of Unayzah congratulated the association’s board of directors, executive management, and the work team on this achievement and thanked them for supervising, training, and preparing the participants for this tournament. He also congratulated Al-Juffali Day Care Center staff, Qudrat School staff, and the families of the participants for their support which had a great impact on their children’s performance in this important tournament.

  • Ta’heel Association is proud to be one of the pioneers in making people with disabilities happy by empowering them and making them part of the society and showing their talents and capabilities.
  • We at Ta’heel Association are proud of our beneficiaries Rakan Al-Otaibi and Yasser Al-Shatwi for their participation in the qualifiers for the Asian Classic Physical Strength Championship, which was held in Jeddah on April 4, 2023, and as a result, our students qualified to be representatives of the Saudi’s special needs team in the Kingdom of Malaysia in 2023.
  • We celebrated the Saudi Special Physical Strength Team winning 20 gold and 8 silver medals. Our association’s total 4 gold medals, won by Rakan Al-Otaibi, and 4 won by Yasser Al-Shatwi.
  • Ta'heel Association is proud that the Saudi Private Federation’s request to hold the Saudi national team camp on the association’s campus and facilities for a period of 3 weeks, during which the players and coaches will be prepared and trained to participate in the tournament.
